End of April

Leona is speaking now this was when Cambelle, my best friend, came over to make resurrection rolls and dye eggs for easter.

And gramma was there to when we were dyeing eggs.

I really loved that dress it was my favorite dress for like a year.

After church on Easter we took a quick family photo in are new easter outfits.

then we did are usual easter egg hunts I was hunting for purple easter eggs one thing I really loved about it is are big easter gift in are baskets.

Since Clara was trying to get in to year book that year she was taking pictures of us and so she decided to take pictures of me playing soccer. She made it into year book by the way.

This was stem night at Hebron Valley my Elementary school for fifth grade and grandma and grandpa were visiting us for a week so they came along with me and Tim to our school and in the picture I am drawing on this thing that if you put it into the oven it will turn in to a plastic thingy but mine kind of turned into like a wavey sun set instead of a pretty strait one.

First Half of April

This is a shirt (that shrunk considerably in the laundry) that I wore in college.  We found it and Leona has been wearing it and it makes me happy every time.

Leona had two pieces of art selected for the district art show. We all went to check out her exhibition. Her art teacher, Ms. G., and her dyslexia teacher, Mrs. Anders, were both there to show support as well.

We tried a Brazilian Easter tradition of making chocolate eggs and then filling them with Easter messages on tiny papers and treats. We probably won't make them again as it was SUPER messy and too sweet for anyone to actually eat, but it was fun to try it.

April Fool's Day

Leona and Clara hid naked Barbies all over our room, bathroom, and closet for April Fool's Day. It felt somehow more aggressive that they were all naked. It took past 4/1 until I had found them all. Collin was out of town and I discovered the following night that I had been sleeping with Ken on his side of the bed.

Bluebonnets

This year it was incredibly windy and a little cold while we were taking bluebonnet photos so it was a bit of a struggle. We were very speedy about our photo shoot.

The End of March

A Sunday afternoon "cafe" in the backyard. I believe that Clara and Leona both took orders and made the lunches, while Leona was the waitress who served the food.

Blanket service project for PAG

One last field trip to LISDOLA for the 5th graders. In spite of the complaining that they'd already done this all before they all had a great time!

They held two different Youth Conferences this year, one for those 14+ who got to go overnight and one for those 12-14. As part of the younger one they got to go to Feed My Starving Children and pack meal kits to be shipped to areas of famine in the world. It was a really awesome activity and all the kids really liked it. Because Sis. Bernhisel is the Stake YW President she snuck in Cambelle and Leona a year early to the service project. It was really impressive to see how quickly and efficiently the kids were and how much they were able to accomplish by working together.

New season, new team (the Shooting Stars), same pink jerseys!
