Seriously if all babies were as sweet and fun as Leona, I would always want to have one around.  If we have a fourth child he/she can personally thank Leona for being so delightful that we wanted another kid.  Likewise, if we don't have a 4th kid it will be because Clara reminds us what happens to cute babies when they turn two.

For some reason I can't find the pictures I took with the two-month sign. But this picture was taken either the same day or right around when Leona turned two months old.

I love this silly little grin. Leona started smiling at us much earlier than her sisters did but it was hard to catch one in the picture because they were so fleeting.

Leona's Baby Blessing

Leona I have to apologize that there aren't better photos from your baby blessing.  The day you were blessed I was really stressed from having 13 people in our tiny house, a migraine, sleep deprivation, and it was right after church so I was starving.  With that said it was a wonderful blessing that you received and here are the things that I wrote in my journal about it.

Leona Elise Roueche will be blessed with:

*Health

*A spirit of service and to seek out those in need

*That Leona will be unselfish with her time and talents

*Faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to learn more about His life and about the scriptures

*She will be a blessing to her sisters and parents

*Happiness

*That Heavenly Father has a plan for her.

The people who stood in the circle were: Her dad, who blessed her, Grandpa Cole, Uncle Matthew, Roy Allison, Wes Harris, and Steven Edwards

People who came for her blessing were Grandma and Grandpa Cole, Matthew and Lana, Veronica, Michael, Sam, Grandma Roueche, the Dykes Family, the Harris Family, and Collin's co-worker, Marie Rozacky.

I have to say that Leona was our only kid who has not cried during her blessing.  She was just a perfect little angel in her white, flowing blessing dress.

Baby's First Rodeo

Pretty much Leona slept through her first trip to the rodeo, as she was a day shy of being 6 weeks old when we went, but she was there. She was snoozing in the carrier here.

It was really hard to get a good picture of all three of the girls. This is a cute one of the older two. 

Clara was jealous because she wanted to hold Leona. 

This is the photo that we used on Leona's baby announcement. Uncle Matthew says it looks like Eliza is putting the sleeper hold on Leona but actually she was just trying to hold her head up and be a good sister.
