We took a quick trip (about 24 hours total) up to Oklahoma to see the Crownover cousins. We all had a great time. There was tons of cousin fun, goats to feed, and the highlight of the trip- the visit to Cousin Melvin's Veterinary Clinic.
While we were there he neutered two cats. Nobody was the least bit squeamish as we watched the procedure. It was cool to watch how it was done. Fun fact: after the testicles are removed from the cat they don't stitch the skin back together. Cats heal so quickly that there's no need. Additionally the kids got to see blood under a microscope as well as an ultrasound of Quinn's guts.
It was a short trip, but a fun one.
