At the end of giving Leona the talk about how babies are made we had the following exchange.
Me: Another name for what we've been talking about is sex.
L: Oh!
Me: Have you heard kids talking about sex at school?
L: Mostly the boys just say, "Sex! AY-OH!"
The entire third grade at Leona's school is a dumpster fire. I hope that she can keep her light shining brightly, in spite of her classmates.
Leona was reading to me for reading practice and she was so engaging that she drew a crowd.
This was us on actual Halloween. Eliza had a stomach virus and couldn't go trick or treating, but she was a good sport and got in the photo. Her siblings were very kind and shared their spoils with her.
