Random Photos from Early November

Leona's Preschool Photo came back.  She is one cute four year old!

They proudly announced that they had made their own personal sized tents with the fort builder and wanted to sleep in them. After about 5 minutes they were "too sweaty" and abandoned their plans.

If I remember correctly this was a picture that Leona drew of her (tall figure on the right) holding Timothy (swaddled mass with spiky hair in the middle), with the rest of the family watching (faces along the left side).

While it took Leona longer than her sisters to pick up on the Herbie Game, she has all of a sudden come into her own.  She is the only kid who can legitimately beat me. Also, while she can't do math problems with anything else she is lightning fast with Herbie points.  If you say to her for example, "I have 4 Herbies and you have 2. How many more do you need to tie me? Or to beat me?" She can answer you no problem.  It's kind of an awesome super power.  The best part is that there is a purple Herbie that lives somewhere close to us because we usually only see it around an intersection at 145th and Greenwood.
