First Week of December

The sheep station was Leona's favorite part of the whole thing.

We went with extended family to the Bethlehem in Waxahachie. It was really cool. They had volunteer actors and the whole town of Bethlehem set up for people to walk through. They have a potter, an oil lamp maker, pita maker, someone stamping bronze coins, and some roman soldiers. There were also stations where you could watch the shepherds run to tell others that they'd seen the baby Jesus, every so often the Wisemen would parade through with camels, and follow the star, and a spot where King Herod sent the Wisemen off to Bethlehem.

Tim had to go to the ER because of an allergic reaction to antibiotics. What made it even worse was that Collin was out of town for work so the girls were on their own at home while I was in the hospital. The girls did their homework, practiced, and then went over to the Stevens' house for dinner. After dinner they came home, did scriptures all on their own, and went to bed. I was so proud of them for not only taking care of the obvious things, but of doing scriptures together.
