I'm not sure if there's ever been a kid more excited to turn 5 in the history of the whole world. Leona has been talking non-stop about how big she will be when she turns 5 since she turned 4 last year. Leona is truly a delight to be around. She is kind and loving. Leona might be the most sincere person I've ever known. If she is happy she makes everyone around her happy. If she says she's sorry for something, it's because she genuinely feels sorry. If she tells you that she loves you, she is really feeling that love at that moment. She has an infectious, mischievous giggle. She is simply a joy to be around.
She had to wait all day to open her presents and she almost exploded.
Since her purple leopard suit from Halloween 2017 was getting a little small I made her a new leopard suit. The bonus was that the puff paint I used was glow in the dark, so the girls immediately charged it up to test it out.
This is her wearing in a couple weeks later.
Leona requested Hello Kitty cupcakes, and this was my attempt. She was pleased with them though so it all worked out in the end. The next day though the left over cup cakes looked like monsters. The black details had started to seep blue and the kitty faces looked a bit gangrenous.
Grandma Cole sent Leona a new leotard to wear to dance class, which she promptly tried out the very next day at dance.
