Leona wanted to prove that she could fit into one of the toy bins, so she did.
Leona swapped out her large 48 bass accordion for a more manageably sized 12 bass. It is a VERY old accordion, easily over 100 years old. It looks like it was on Vaudeville. We had the following conversation about the new accordion.
Me: Are you excited to have traded in Big Bertha for Small... Suzy? Small Suzy Squeezebox?
Leona: I feel like it's a boy.
Me: Oh. Ok.
Clara: Small Sam?
Me: Small Sammy the Squeezebox?
Leona: I want it to be Ernie.
Me: Small Ernie it is!
The funny thing is that the name, Ernie, really fits the accordion. It was a perfect name.
