The kids are very pleased that I keep getting proved wrong about it not snowing in Texas. This year we ended up with 3 or 4 (I can't remember offhand) "snow days." Once this month it was mostly icy roads from sleet, but the other time there was in fact snow. The best part about it was that we didn't lose electricity so the kids were free to go outside and play in it all day long. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts the boogie boards did not double as sleds. Fortunately we had ingredients for hot cocoa and friends to play with.
