In addition to changing buildings halfway through the year, Leona's teacher also changed halfway through the year. She started the year with Teacher Cody and ended with Teacher Paige, although Miss Maria (in red) was a constant all year. In spite of some tearful goodbyes Leona had a wonderful experience in preschool. She made tons of friends and really enjoyed the whole experience- with the exception of a little boy pulling her pigtails, thus necessitating a brief change of hairdo from her signature pigtails to braids to make the pulling less tempting. :)
We celebrated the last day of school by hosting a water balloon and popsicle party for anyone at the bus stop who wanted to come. We had a good time. We also got lucky because that was the only day the whole week that was sunny enough for the water balloons!
