Leona and her dance class danced to "Under the Sea" for the big dance recital. They were of course adorable. My favorite move that Leona does is the "shimmery". It is a full body dance move that mixes the Shimmy with the Floss. Years from now when Leona is reading this she will probably not remember the passing fad of the Floss but it was a big deal for a while here. I had been worried that Leona would be nervous and not want to perform. The recital was on a big stage in the auditorium that the school district uses for high school productions. I did not need to have worried. She followed her little line of dance buddies up on the stage and danced her heart out. Afterwards we headed to Menchie's for some frozen yogurt in celebration of a job well done.
